Jon arrived back at the house on Friday afternoon. Talk about some happy kids (and wife).
On Friday night Jon and I thought we'd try an adult meeting. Only one small problem - there weren't any kids meetings for our kids age. So we decided to be brave and try to take them with us.
We ended up in the overflow room which was a blessing. The chairs were further apart and the speakers were set up in such a way that I heard the entire sermon. I'm not sure how long it's been since that happened. And it was a great sermon to boot.
Just the fact that I heard and grasped the entire thing was note worthy. But I gave Dominic my iPod to play with and the pictures were hilarious.
The picture quality isn't great, especially with the last photo. But the faces he was making were cracking us up (Okay, I must have missed at least a few seconds of the sermon.).
Us paying attention.
Dominic, not so much.
View from Jon's iPod when we noticed what he was doing. Quality sucks, but I think you can get the picture.
At least he enjoyed himself so we could as well.
On Sabbath afternoon we went for a walk around the lake.
My new favorite picture.
Dominic's favorite tree.
At about 6pm Caitlin told us she didn't want supper. She wanted to sleep. Jon told her to come lay beside him on the couch and within seconds, both were asleep. Jon woke up a bit later, but Caitlin slept the entire night. Baby girl was exhausted.
Isn't that the sweetest picture?!
We sadly left camp meeting this morning (Sunday) to head home. Every year we complain that the week went by too fast and it's so true. But it's good to be home.
Because we went with a different rental company we know for sure that we will be in the same house next year. We have at least one (maybe two) rooms available for next year if you want to jump in and claim them. =)
