Brilliant Idea

When Jon gets home from the work we usually play with the kids for a while before choosing where to go eat. Tonight after swimming Dominic asked for cereal and milk for supper. Sometimes when our schedule is crazy and the weather is hot we'll skip the normal supper and have cereal and milk. We hadn't done that since moving. So I had a brilliant idea. 

We fed the kids cereal and then gave them baths. After we dressed Caitlin in her pjs we headed to Chick-fil-A. Jon and I sent the kids into the play area and then ordered food for us. We sat right in front of the glass so we could keep an eye on the kids and then had a nice adult conversation without interruptions and messes. 

It was wonderful. We'll definitely be doing that again!
